Back wall done with palette knife & tree done with paintbrush.
I liked that this painting combined both painting techniques as well as two different styles. The contrast between the stingy, dark, 'trashy' wall and the pure, light and "full of life" tree as a theme is really cool. I definitely want to work with this idea again.
